07 Aprilia RSVR Factory

A year or two ago, when I pulled up there with my Altima, no one gave me the time of day. They totally ignored me and my bud. Last fall, when I was ready to pull the trigger on my Ape, I went there to check out the RSV Factory they had on the floor just to sit on it and stuff. I pulled up in the Audi, and all of a sudden I was getting VIP treatment.....WTF, I hadn't forgotten my previous experience though. They tried to sell the factory to me for $4k more than I was going to get it from AF1, and I told them, their response was AF1 would be closing down and that's why I was getting a deal...............FIB!!!!

Mods, please make a stickies for all eximport's thread. Tired of hearing people bashing eximport for making money. Bottom line, if you are dumb enough to pay for something that is not then it is your fault, shoulda check around and I am sure you have already, , you like something up your to make it more sweet.

Eximports is the biggest POS dealer in this town.

I feel sorry for all the first timers that get screwed there.

That's the way the cookie crumbles. Anyone who knows me well enough, knows I'm into buying cheap $15 jeans, and 3 for $10 t-shirts. It has irritated many of my S.O.'s both past and present. I just leave it to them to find me something "fashionable", since I hate shopping for clothes I will spend money on good quality gear and equipment, though.

Anyway, I showed up there on a few occasions when I was considering a Tuono or a Monster, dressed in my usual self, and pulling up in my beat-up '97 Tacoma. Not much attention was given to me, which I enjoyed, since I like to be left alone anyway until I'm ready to ask some questions. But even when I did ask questions, I wasn't taken seriously. In fact, one guy stopped me, excused himself, then went on to take care of another potential customer. I do dress like a , though. Then on my last visit, I stopped by after a business meeting. I drove the Lexus, had on business attire, and was wearing my Rolex. Needless to say, I was given mucho attention, but I never bought the bike after all.

the new ninjas leaving at $3500 approx total, the new ones you can get for $1500-2500. I got mine 2007 250 ninja with 500 miles for $2200, only some minor fairing per one drop.... Not a bad deal for a first bike!

I'm not so much bashing a dealership for having huge markup, it was the "buy a 600cc cause 250cc is too small" approach.

I disagree. I understand people making money in re-sale business. No problem. But I think this or any other "bash eximport threads" should be a sticky. People here need good info on bikes, not a funnel into that guys' pocket. that's just part of what this board is about, helping each other in moto and non-moto situations.
So lets keep people who we deal with in check. Ever wonder why Patrick does well? it's how he treats people, his prices, and his service.

i went went to unlimited today. They helped me replace bulb for state inspection and were very helpful. I forget what types of bulbs etc, and so they got me taken care of. They've always been a great source of info...

now those 2 doing wheelies on 1960 in 4 o clock traffic on the other hand from that location... well... squids will be squids.
