Skydiving weekend 3/8-3/9

looks like ill be in town for the weekend, and not working, and since every organized skydiving trip goes to , here it is - short notice but If you claimed you wanted to go and never had a chance then this is it.

This is not the typical organized group trip that wont fly, so basically if you want to go, call the place and sign up. http://www.skydivespaceland.com/

I don't get discounts so if you want one, figure out a name for your group, tell everybody to make their reservations under that and hope more people show up.

I will be there both days, leaving 9-10 and coming back whenever, with a possible run at crabb before getting there. Plans are flexible so just holla if you are interested.

If there happens to be another SMR (yes I will call it that, cuz I been to both and on both I was home after 1:00. ) then I might just do that and not go on sunday unless someone realy wants to go.

With Texas Trackdays! My first event will be at MSRH on March 15th and 16th! I will keep an eye on the weather! Let me know when you are for sure what day you are gonna jump! I so want to do this, and now is a good time as ever!

noice... congratulation on the instructor rating!

I will be there both days this weekend as long as the weather is nice. So either one works with me.

For those of you reading this thread and unsure of whether you want to jump or not, do it. You will not regret it! Skydiving is worth the money. Last I jumped it was high 50's and I was in a t-shirt and jeans, you don't notice the cold when you're free-falling

I am definitely gonna do it, but I am very cold natured and I don't want to be shivering the whole way down!

trust me I dont like the cold either, but it shouldnt be that bad, and if anything you will be shivering on the way up and not down; but still a couple of layers should do it.

sunday at 3 works, now just keep in mind that that probably means you'll end up jumping one hour later, you know paperwork training etc, so leave enough time open in the afternoon w/o plans, this depends on the weather and not only rain but high winds as well. so far they look stable on the weekend, but I can only see till sat at midnight.

Hah! big groups are extremely rare in skydiving, everybody will say they'll want to go until its real, then you can't find them anywhere.

#1 its minly cold on the ride up, u wont notice on the way down. #2 don't get there too late, or u might not jump (close @ sundown)#3 don't wait on friends, or u'll never jump. ""Hah! big groups are extremely rare in skydiving, everybody will say they'll want to go until its real, then you can't find them anywhere."" thats the truth!! i'll be there sat lil later in the day (noon), and all day sun.

That's the TRUTH for sure...I've been twice and it's amazing!! Can't wait to go again...can't make it this weekend unfortunately...but there will be a 3rd, 4th, 5th...etc. You'll notice the cold when then door opens at 15,000 feet, but your adrenaline keeps you warm on the way down and trust me, when you're hurled toward the ground at 120, the LAST think you're thinking about is being cold!!! DO IT!!!!!!!!
