alright, drag racing time... lol.

My friend has a 919, and i've read some reviews on teh 599 seems like a great bike. Do you find wind buffeting bad on a naked bike? i'm interested in nakeds but worried about wind buffeting. :/:

If you guys are headed up thru the Forest to 3090, you can come back down 362-2979-Hwy6-1736 to 1488. Good little mix... hit Yankees in Carlos, on 244 just north of 30 for lunch.

I was thinking the same thing regarding the weather. I'll check the forecast tonight, and we'll go from there, just keep checking the thread; don't forget we live in houston.........it might be 80 for all we know.

can you PM your phone? I've had a heck of a long week, and before i get up and start going, i'd rather call and talk with someone to make sure i'm not the only one going to show up.... its been cold and though I don't mind for commuting, a joy ride @ 39 degrees isn't much fun.

Let me know, or send me phone of person coordinating, if you don't know. Thanks!

It was a beautiful morning ride from Katy to Tomball. Cold enough to warrant heated gloves, but vest not necessary. I did have a mask on under my helmet. Overall nice ride. I'm off to eat breakfast and will check back later to see if anyone is actually going. C ya bye.

Results from ride: Rode with Bigzone and his friend. I managed to keep up on my Ninja250 due to their courtesy and responsibility as bikers. Had a great time, and though we pushed it a bit, it was responsibly and within responsible limits. I'd ride with them again in a heartbeat!

We took a ride through 149 which i've never done and was beautiful. On the way back down Highway 6, i directed to 1736 which i had discovered by accident. It seemed that Bigzone was in escaty after that ride!

Only thing that could have been better is better timing and more people. Next ride we coordinate needs to take into account the travel time on a saturday morning for some, since i waited @ the gas station for 1.75 hours approx. A little too long. I actually left then figured i swing back once more to see if anyone came and thats when my riding buddies pulled in.

I'll keep scouting some of the roads near Cypress rosehill road and try finding more of these beautiful routes....

Question: does anyone have a good route mapping site that we can save routes to to share with people, or just have to google the routes?

Lets do this again sometime soon!

Be careful on the north end of Cypress Rosehill, it stays pretty greasy on those roads.

I save my routes in a WORD doc, just the turn by turn directions, then I can map out in Google or wherever to change things up.

Many good roads out there
