TRC §547.602.

Not that my comments will change your mind, or anyone else who has said it already on this thread, but riding w/o mirrors on the street = not cool.

If you want to ride w/o mirrors so you can look cool take it to the track...$.02

ok....been riding for over 10yrs (14)... yet to hit the ground thx , but no matter if i do have them or not i will always look over my shoulder before I switch lains as you should to.Im not teaching anyone how to ride, but mirrors are not always what you need....your eyes are the best thing for you when you ride. With that being said its not about having a clean looking bike, it also for me to keep looking around my siroundings. Is it me or bikers are getting soft lol j/k

It's not just for switching lanes it's about knowing what's going on around you. I, and another person I know personallly, have been able to avoid being rear-ended by seeing something coming up from behind them.

Thats why you should just split the lanes, then they can hit you from behind...

+1 on looking over the shoulders and checking.

Clean bike btw, you should get that swing arm powder coated black...

allright so all the ignorance about the mirrors needs to end to be completely honest i think people with out mirrors are safer than people with mirrors i ride without mine and i always do a fullscale turn and check before switching lanes mirrors have blindspots and riding without them is not illegal because if you turn and look you eliminate blind spots i have an officer in the family the laws for a bike are different than a car and if someone told you its wrong and you cant pass inspection got to a real shop your bike is bad sorry for the rant glad the hawk is gone it was a good mod just not appreciated by everyone(i loved it man)
