truly a good point. I just happen to be in the position to handle all of that work, I am knowledgable enough, but to do teardowns would take lots of time, time I dont have, but more importantly, my small shop is set up with powder equipment and customer stuff everywhere, etc, its better to take it to a reputable shop with all the right equipment and crew to knock it out, store the bike for a few days and then trust them to reassemble with care.
