Congrats on the Kawi, excellent choice! I think 8 hours is the longest I've ridden in one sitting and I've had my bike for 2 years. Quite a first ride you had there.

good luck

practice emergancy braking, work your way up from 10-20-30-+ mph, cuz that is a far cry from the 125/250 you took MSF w/ 1 yr ago.

tell your parents, how do you think they are gonna take it if they have to find out you have a bike seeing you in the hospital (chances are high)

you shoulda spent less $ on the lid, and bought a jacket and boots.

btw the COrbin seat is ALOT better then your stock seat. thats the nature of beast you bought.

Beautiful clean bike! Congrats and take it easy and you will be just fine! If you haven't already done it take the MSF! If you have take it to a parking lot and practice all the techniques you learned!

I bought my 04 RR in Brenham amd rode it home but Denton makes for a long trip! You are a brave man! Good job!

Congrats on the bike.
To tell you the truth, you may ba a noob, but it seems like you know how not to be squidly. That is important.
Keep the bike within you limits and think about every ounce of imput you put into it before doing so. And ride like you're invisible to the cagers and you SHOULD do fine. But once again, congrats on the sweet wheels.
