on a somewhat side note I appreciate the answers to my 'somewhat side note' question.. (about the pirellis). some background: the SXV has slicks and I normally bring both it and the 675 to the track. looking to buy a set of warmers, have pirellis on the 675, so figured i'd throw the warmers on the 675 at some point. just wanted to check that since the P's are considered a 'race' tire, the warmers (assuming i have them laying around) would be beneficial.
Thanks!!

aren't the pirelli's on your 675 the street tires that came with the bike? which model are they? and do they have a compound type?

if they have no compound type.....then no, you don't need warmers. if they are IN FACT, DOT race tires....yes, use warmers throughout the day.

as for the sxv....you should have warmers on those slicks so you don't tear those tires to shreds on warm up laps.
