no ... 05-08 1000's and 06-08 600's/750's all use the same rims. i just had to find out because i need a front rim for my wifes 07 gsxr 600

Look for an '01 - '05 GSXR600, '00 - '05 GSXR 750 or '01-'04 GSXR1000 front wheel.
