So I did my first tire change!!!

Yep...i finally got around to putting on my rear pirelli corsa 3 tire. only took me about 20 min to put the wheel back on, caliper, axle, chain and then the nut w/cotter pin. Saved me a lot of money in the process of doing it myself as well. Getting the hex driver for the front tire next week from javi then gettin 'er done again.

Did you change the tire or just remove and replace the wheel?

good job. make sure you aligned the wheel properly on the rear. if you haven't already, there are little marks on the swingarm and the bolts in front of the axle adjust the chain along with aligning the wheel. both sides must be even.

saves a lot of money especially if you start doing trackdays. i change both tires on average every 3 trackdays, so yeah, learning to do a few things yourself can save some bucks.

if you don't know what you're doing, or have someone that does help you do what you gotta do....i would not suggest doing certain things. especially tires, learn to do it right....cuz you're risking your own life if you screw up.

yea everything is aligned and running exactly like it should again. That is the reason why i am changing my own tires now. Gonna start doing more TD's and save money. i didnt have to do any chain adjustment either.
