And then, when you took the helmet off, the cop said "aren't you a little old for this ?"

If you get your M license right away you can get it dismissed. Same thing happened to my buddy. He got pulled over cause his license plate fell of and got ticket for no plates, no inspect, and no M license. Went and took care of all 3 that week and paid only court costs no fines.

and yes, I have my M and took MSF.

now that he has the MSF he only has to take the writing portion of the test and get the endorsment

easier now

Friday I was in line to get my registration renewed for the bike and overheard one of the ladies behind the glass tell a person they could go to any DPS office in Texas to get their TX license renewed but the vehicle registration needs to be done in the county of residence.

i've got my Nueces County registered vehicle registered here in Harris County.

I've also renewed my license in the middle of nowhere.

Yes same but if you've taken the MSF you don't have to do the driving test just show them your certificate. Also the way its set up your better off just taking the MSF I tried to just do the driving one the way they have it set up you have to bring your bike and a car to the DPS at 6 in the morning hope your far enough ahead in line to get an appointment so that you can come back later that day (again with the car and bike) and take the driving test also both the car and bike have to have proof of valid registration, inspection, and insurance or they wont let you ride.

If your within a 45 min drive or so I HIGHLY!!!! recommend going to the DMV over by league city (its right across from elington (sp?) field) I went to 4 different DMV's trying to get my straightened out and i waited over 3 hours at all of them except that one i waited about 4 min they really have their together at that location. Well worth the 45 min drive (one way) and the tolls for me. WHEN I have to go back (because they cant seam to process my paper work correctly) i will be making the drive out there again lol

i did mine in alvin, maybe i got lucky, but it only took about 15 min for the lady to follow behind me. And that was because she was testing someone before me.... Only took a bout an hour
