Horses on 528?

So I was driving down 528 today near Nasa Rd. 1 around 3 pm and there were cops patrolling along with about 50 horse's and riders following them, some were pulling old wagons with people in them and playing loud music... What was it? I don't think it was a parade.

Did anyone else see this?

ummm, rodeo is in town (almost) and those are the trail riders I would assume....they find it disturbing when camping under overpasses and you slam the rev limiter at 2 in the morning while they are all asleep.....I kid, I kid.

I'm not new to town. I bought some rodeo tickets already last month. I don't think that those horses had anything to do with the rodeo.

+1 look up trail riders on google associated with the Houston livestock show & rodeo...I'd put money on it that they have everything to do with Rodeo festivities.
