I clenched up the moment I saw it. That was pretty freaking close there. If they would of hit ugly things would of happened. I wonder if that guy was new to the track and did not do a newbie track day first. Scary.

There is no better place to learn those skills than on the track. You will not be in that close of quarters in any novice group, or carry those sorts of speeds.

+1 Just come to a noob day or a novice group and bring a willingness to learn. Also, don't get impatient. Speeds start off very slow (almost painfully slow) in the morning sessions and get faster throughout the day. At the end of the day I am sure you will be surprised what you will have accomplished in only one day.
