whats wrong with an exhaust not made specifficaly for my bike?

so i was wondering about exhaust slip ons, do most bikes bolts have the same placement? so i can fit other bikes (not being the same as mine) exhuast on the same bolts? also if it does not fit any anything wrong with getting a muffler shop to weld it to fit?

by the time you remove the rivots and replace the lower cap with one to bolt into place for your bike; would be cheaper to buy one already fitted for your bike.

Yes, you could get a welded onto the pipe, but if you are going from steel to alumimum it won't weld. Plus, if you ever need to do a repair, It may need to come off...
