Ummm, I think you are reading that backwards. The list is listed in 1 in a x, chance of dying.

Every kid is going to use that site to try and convince their parents to let them buy a bike.

my aunt used to run marathons... up to the point till she developed bone spurs in both feet. I never have been a big runner. Had to do it to pass physical for fire dept. but other than that not for me. walking and cycling are easier on the knees.

I will take up cycling if i quit running. I will be one of those lance armstrong wannabes that everybody hates ever weekend morning.

I wonder what the odds are to die from that?

Those stats aren't even relavant!

Look at how they figured. Its basing the equation off of the total people in the population. Just think of all the people in our population that don't ride or will never get on a bike in their lifetime. To get a real number you'd have to figure out how many people actually ride motorcycles and then compare that figure to how many motorcycle deaths there were.

I'm never going to be a passenger of agriculure vehicle or special construction vehicle but they are still using me in that stat to come up with a number of what the odds i would be killed in that vehicle.

B.S. stat page. I love seeing my tax dollars wasted.

Stat class in college showed everybody that every stat can be manipulated to prove someones point. Lol i use stats in that manners at my work all the time. I am sure everybody does.
