almost weird police encounter

so this morn, riding the SV i get on 290 see another bike, fall in behind him (staggared of course), we turn on BW8 south, he heads to the passing lane (far left) so i follow him, he's in the left track and i'm in the right. as we get up to the toll both at little york, another bike catches up to us in the next lane over, it's motor cop I think Sherriffs dept.

as we get to the tool booth, cop is in my blind spot, can't see him. i'm in the right track, as we go thru the booth still can't see him, and i'm pretty close to the dividing line. then all of a sudden he hit his police horn, no place to pull over there, so i raise my left hand in acknowedgement. no biggie i'm all legit, bikes legit (all done last month) for the most part , toll tag on me ( though not sticked on windshield). then all of a sudden he throttles next to me and points at the white line......i'm like WTF........ then he throttles up to other dude, who was on a cruiser. dude was in the left track up against the wall and they seem to have some yelling match and LEO kept pointing at the white line.......

he speeds up, we motor on, get to tollbooth by westy, and cop is ahead of us by a few hundred yards, as HE enters tollbooth he rides the white line...., i'm still in the right track and i'm outside "the box" but still in my lane and i stay there, other dude still in left track.

dunno, i think the cop was telling us to ride the white line...........

I do it. guilty as charged. take me in. never gotten a toll ticket and my tags on the yzf600r are clearly vivible.

he was trying to save u a couple bucks a week. added up, it will pay for that 57 in a 55 that the cop gives you just because you're on a bike.

Sounds like the cop was trying to do his good deed of the day.

The white line don't work, your still gonna get your pic taken and they are high quality, plus some one reviews those pics, zooms them in, and will cross ref with DMV your address.
I learned first hand, EZTag sent me a bill... with a pic of me on the bike, and a zoomed in pic of my plates...
