Stunt bike at the track....

so the lady at the track (msr) said I couldn't stunt in the empty parking lot... so I paid for the track day so I could ride...

thought I was gona be riding in the noob group and going really slow. but after 1 session, I took it to the intermediate group. 2nd to the last session I had a lap timer....

MSRH, clockwise, stunt bike, 6th GRAR THE WHOLE WAY!!! DID NOT SHIFT ONCE, hard compound street tires, suspension that was not set up at all, dirt bike handle bars, and a top speed of 120.

and rolled a steady 1:55-157 going threw traffic.

:not:

that was fun. can't wait to get the gsxr back out there. i'm aiming at 1:45

Yea he did. I was his instructor for a few laps. Held a very nice n steady line. Acceleration on that bike is prolly equal to my REPSOL!!!

Only issue I had was....passing his bike for tech.
Had I not known the fugger I'd prolly have not passed the bike...

Thats cool. Looks like everyone is converting to the track. I wont to make it out and ride but that will only happen if its paid for me by some one else. I guess if claytons bike can pass , I shouldnt have a problem.

I bet you had a hard time keeping the front wheel down! Or maybe you liked it that way...

Either way, those track times are more than respectable, especially on a bike that's been stunted and I'm guessing has a mostly stock suspension.

stock suspension all the way, not set up at all. i set the rear spring on #3 because i'm light. and the front and rear comp/rebound are set at what ever.. i dont even know.

and 6th gear all the way. 1/2 way through my first session i just stopped shifting. and i wont pull it up in 6th off straight power.

i have no cage on my stunt bike now. i'm changing my name to claydariustonrossi. haha

and the hand brake was loosened, moved up and outa the way, and not touched again. i use very little rear brake at the track. only when i'm going into a corner to hot.

Yeah man, you looked really good. I was the instructor with you for a while on the blue/black GSXR600. I was actually shocked that a stuntbike that looked that beat up was hauling that much ! Good job man, hope to see you back out there soon.
