thumbs up for racerx

it awesome how the mods here lock threads to prevent counter arguments. it sure was big of you to insult me and then lock the thread to prevent me from civilly replying to your you respond. go ahead and do your thing and lock / delete modify this post. it sure is easier than having to come up with a counter-argument.

that is why i think x is a ... I don't care that the post was locked. But it proves my point about his character when he called you instead of just stating facts and closing the thread. 1 point for me... go team.

i'm all cool about preventing drama. what i'm not cool about is the cheap shot he threw at me and also there were several false statements he made about me. to top it off, he lock the thread so i couldn't respond. that is petty and cheap mod power abuse if you ask me...

I can respect x's stand on motorcycle safety. I even appluade it. But there is nothing useful in calling someone in response to a post he didn't agree with. that is my beef.

I know of other places it is worse

Seriously, you might not like RacerX, but the point of locking things is to stop the drama before it starts. The thread was started to start drama and used a dead person to insite this drama. Not really a good way to prove a point. I am sure that there are other videos that might give the poster a edge on one accident, but doesnt disprove the facts/stats of MSF and being self taught.

J
Lets not mentiojn those other sites hence why i am here more now.

so if i happen to disagree with him, then it gives him the right to insult me and silence my opinion by locking a thread? a mod should have way thicker skin and deafer ears than the average member.

You know what, Iíll respond on this thread before itís locked and then Iíll be done with what I have to say:

", how would you know about the MSF? you've never taken the class or observed it. "

first of all, my name is not . second of all, Iíve taken the course: TWICE. first time in okc when I started riding about ten years ago and again when I moved to Houston. when I moved to Houston, I had the option of just transferring my endorsement over but you know what, I said the heck with it; letís take it again as a refresher. I took it at awesome cycles and got a bell for a perfect score on the road course so donít assume I did not take msf. i also preach it to all I know and would encourage anyone to take (not to your extreme though). Having said that, I still believe this I posted on the locked thread:

Msf is just one tool to help you be a better and safer rider. Maturity, experience, temperament, and yes msf all play a role but each one is not an end all solution.

but the odds are alot in your favor of surviving if you take the class, but i'm sure w/ your few months of riding

man, Iíve been riding for more than a few months. Where did you get that assumption from? Iíve also got quite a few miles under my belt too. Do I have 80,000 like you? I have no idea because I do not keep track of it so I can talk down to people who have ridden less miles.

you know everything there is to know right?

this is funny, you are the last person on this site to make a statement like thisÖ

yeah, a moderator calling a member a doesn't make MH look very good. family friendly site? a is a toy. mods should take the higher ground, right?

I hope he calls you a and locks this one too....you deserve(d) it. And yes I agree, he shouldn't be allowed to bash you and then lock it ultimately giving him the last word, but I wish someone else called you out earlier in the thread.
