Talked to Gabe, he said she may be transferred from Tyler Med to a specialty facility. Pelvis is broken in half, the other injuries are not as severe.

Misty said she didn't crash on her own and then get hit, she said someone hit her and then ran her over. I don't know if anyone saw it, but she was sure about that according to Gabe. She said as soon as she stopped she knew her pelvis was broken... man, what a horrible feeling.

Gabe said they don't need anything right now, her son is being taken care of by Gabe's parents, and Gabe is going to stay in the toy hauler (probably working on his bikes) since visiting hours are only for a couple hours per day.

He said to tell everyone "thanks for the thoughts and prayers, it means a lot".

i think he did pretty good with all things considered! bad starting positions suck but, he did well enough. He didn't fall down so i'd say he did good.

Thanks guys and gals. She just went into the OR and should be out in 4hrs or so. I heard from everyone at the track that she higsided and landed in front of the guy that ran here over. She says differently but we all know how details can get mixed up after a crash. Her spirits are good and shes ready to get back to normal.
-thanks Gabe

Surgery went well. She has an external fixation device. 2 carbon rods that screw into her pelvis but stick out through her skin then connect to each other. I think I see some carbon shift rods in my future
