Track FTMFW

So I did my first track day with my dad at MSRH. It was like crack on two wheels. I was dragging my knee in a couple of corners. I kept dragging foot pegs so I had to learn how to get my off the bike and into the corner. Learned soooo much. I will have to post pics later. One of the instructers wanted to get vid of me so I will have to get that posted at some point also. I started in the noob class and they had to move me up to intermediate class. I was eating the sport bikes up in the corners on my DR650. They would power past me in the straights then I would catch them in the corner and wonder why they were going so slow lol. OMG FUN!!!!!

That is for sure. I hardly ever ride on the street and I don't miss it...

I sure miss the track tho'.

Yes sir. Thank you very much for letting me use those. There is a present in the inside pocket for you. I left them at Scotts house but forgot the hanger in my truck. There were two photographers out today. I am hoping they got some good shots of me. I know they got some of me in the sweeper right arm fully extended with both cheeks off the side. And thank you for the vid looked good. Can't wait for the vid that one of the instructors got while following me.

Oh man, just the fact that you wet out on the track and had a good time is good enough for me. I think it's pretty well known I'm like to support people, especially noobies, getting out on the track.

The hanger isn't a priority, i have spares.

Glad you had a great time, I look forward to riding on the track with you!

Well thank you very much. I look forward to tearing up a track with you and Scott on our 'tards. I can't wait for the photographer to post his pics on his smug mug account.

Yeah. He said he was going to post it up on the texas track days web site soon. I can't wait to see it. Thanks for the compliment. I can't believe how much I learned and improved. Only been riding street for a year and a half never thought I could get to that level.
