The Ducs are penalized with weight, 20 ibs heavier, they are saying that is really effecting tire wear, Did U see Bayless keep on loosing the left side, my guess was wiping out the left side front tire, 5 in the top ten in 1st race and 6 out of 10 in second race 1098,s 2,3,4,5,6, all 1098, I,ll bet that train sounded awesome

sounded like a pack of water pumps draining out the field up the road from me
None of the other Ducks were moving about so I put it down to Bayliss's recently injury effecting his ability to get the bike turned at speed.

The Biaggi/Xaus Ducks sure look sweet though

Nah, it's not even yet. I'm just a fan of the twin, and I hope these victories will entice the japs to develop something besides the I-4 to take on the Duc's.
Hmm, honda V-4/V-5 with factory traction control.

It seem to me that more teams were running Ducati this year than previous years. I expected to see the new ZX10 and CBR 1k to be in the top 5, guess those teams just don't have the right riders.

sorta like the RC45 but built so more than one rider can win on it
I like the twins too but come on, why WSB gotta keep dancing to Ducati's tune ??

The Honda is all new, it will come good, great team with good track record, Superglue and Kiyo are awesome not sure Checa is hungry for it like he used to be.
The Kawasaki, that's a different story.
Watch the races, I don't want to spoil it but it is made very clear which are the better bikes in the field.

I agree "Superglue" and Kiyo are fantasic riders. I saw the Kawi teams with 07 ZX10 (Gen2) and with 08 ZX10 (Gen3). Both teams bikes look like they are from PSG-1, are they? I'm curious to see what the AMA boys are going to do this season, and to see Aprilla's new V4 bike/engine, and KTM's RC8 and how they will fair once entered the mix.

It looked to me like Bayliss just wanted to win more in the 1st race, but I would say that for all the guys riding the Ducati's..... Have we EVER seen Max B ride like that before?? or xaus?? Ducati will win a grip of races this year in WSBK and I dont think it will be because of the extra 200cc or 20lbs. It will be because the have the best and most talent this year.
and besides if the extra cc is that big of an advantage dont you think Honda would be working on a v-twin superbike? especially considering where the 1000rr is sitting right now?

That's the gazillion dollar question. You already know who I'm rooting for next year, the Ducs should enjoy it while they can. Aprilia has a solid racing history, and I strongly believe the battle of the twins next season will be absolutely invigorating.

I sincerely hope they get it right,
they try so hard,
look at their last MotoGP bike, the "Cube", engine by Cosworth, the most successful F1 engine builder of all time I'm told and pneumatic valves which other teams (bar Ducati) are only just testing/using now !!!
Shame they just couldn't get it to work.
Who'd you like to see ride for them ??[QUOTE]

Love haga's style. That dude is the true dean of lean.
o/t
I heard cosworth would no longer be supplying any F1 teams with engines.
Any truth to that? Figured you might know since they are in your back yard.
