Patriot Guard Mission for Fallen Officer: Monday Feb 25

Link to the original thread posted by PoPoRider: http://www.motohouston.com/forums/sh...ad.php?t=45656

Patriot Guard Riders will be having an Honor Mission for this Officer on Monday, February 25.
Please join us if you can.

Final itinerary for CPL Harry Thielepape
Harris County Precinct 6 Constable
25 Feb 08
Harris County Precinct 6 Deputy Constable Harry Thielepape, who was shot more than three weeks ago while working security at an apartment complex, died early this morning. He was 57.

Thielepape, who survived several surgeries to repair his gunshot wounds, was with family members at Memorial Hermann Hospital when he died, Precinct 6 spokesman Danny Perez said.

"He fought this injury all the way through to the end," said Cpl. Gerald Caldwell, who was at the hospital when Thielepape passed away.

"He was a special guy," Precinct 6 Constable Victor Trevino said after learning of his longtime deputy's death. "He always wanted to be in law enforcement and he fulfilled his dream.".....

In talking to and visiting with a number of Precinct 6's Deputy Constables both individually and at the Hospital while the Corporal was fighting his battle I quickly learned that Corporal Thielepape is someone I would have been proud to call my friend, ride beside or stand beside. I can tell you all that he was a valuable part of the Law Enforcement effort in Harris County and was loved and respected by those in his Precinct and Community....................BOOMER

The S. E. Texas Patriot Guard Riders will STAND TALL & SILENT in Honor of Corporal Thielepape and his Contribution to our Community.

The service will be at Catholic chrismatic Church, 1949 cullen (@ the Gulf Freeway near UofH). Visitation will begin at 0900 hrs, with the service starting at 1000 hrs. The Interment will follow the service at Garden Park Cemetery, Conroe, Tx.

MISSION DATE: February 25, 2008

STAGING LOCATION: ( Map ) Fingers Furniture, 4001 Gulf Freeway, Houston, TX.
Staging site instructions: It's right across Cullen from the Church. Staging will be in the lot closest to the church. Follow the Directions of the PGR RC's. Form two lines, Flag Bikes and Non Flag BIkes (F.A.S.T.). All non flag bikes will depart as the F.A.S.T. team and be escorted to Garden Park Cemetery after the 1000 Hr Service begins. Remember we do not leave the Internment until the services at the cemetery are over.

STAGING TIME LINE:

Staging: 0700 Hrs

Safety Briefing & Prayer: 0735 Hrs

KSU (Kick Stands Up): 0750 Hrs

Honors Flags Set Up: 0800 Hrs

Hearse Arrival: 0815 Hrs

F.A.S.T. Departure (Escorted) Approximately: 1015 Hrs

F.A.S.T Lead: TBD

Please remember: We hold the flag in our LEFT hand so to be able to greet and shake the hands of Officers and Guests that wish to do so (Many Do), No SMOKING in or NEAR the flag line for respect of our flag and concern for the care of our flags. Keep talking to a minimum and not at all when at attention. SALUTING: Congress has ruled that veterans in and out of uniform, covered or not may SALUTE the fallen as directed if they wish to do so. Another option is to place you hand over your heart. Boomer says, you're here to pay Honor to a fallen Hero, if you want to Salute NO ONE will have a problem with it on his watch.

F.A.S.T. When you set up at the cemetery please take two flags so the Flag Bike Riders can come directly to the grave and take one rather than carry through the guests.

Ride Safe and Be Alert AT ALL TIMES. Thanks for your support!
