it's a ghost ship, there are no pirates to be found(although i orignially wanted a pirate ship) If you look again you'll notice the ship is only "washed" and there is no bold black ink on the ship. The idea is to give a "fading" effect(like a ship hiding in the fog). I got the ship and the waves for my best friend and roomate that drowned in 2002. more of a memorial piece i guess you could say. BTW, the skull in the moon is b/c he's looking down over me. I'll post more pics soon. . . RIP Josh!!!!

I'll post them up or send them to your myspace this weekend. Dan shaded the waves and clouds for 4.5 hours before he started going "crosseyed". I couldn't have sat too much longer anyway My new work schedule forced me to reschedule my third sitting or i would be almost done by now. . .

yeah rib tats hurt, I have both of mine done, for me the closer it got to my hip the more it hurt. next up is finished my right leg into a (almost) sock. Then i don't know what's next. I really want my arms done, but that's a big step, career wise. I'll end up doin it eventually. i'd say i have probably around 30 hours if not more. My really big piece took a looooong time.
