Re: My first wheelie(newb)

first tip.. i wouldn't clutch it up in 1st, unless you really know what you're doing and that back brake coverd. I'd just power it up in 1st to balance point just to get use to the hieght and the feel of the BP.

I'd recommend you actually wait till you get your real license plate + some more ride exp. before you try any of that.. Paper plates are still too noobish to be trying wheelies.

Re: My first wheelie(newb)

hey congrats , i just did my first stand up wheelie today....it was also my first time trying to bounce up a wheelie and its alot easier than i thought....anyways if you have trouble clutching it in second, id try bouncing the bike up in second it comes up smoother than anything... just get it in the power band and press down on the footpegs and hit the throttle when the suspension is coming back up.....im no pro but you gotta be comfortable with the bike or you will jack yourself up so be careful

Re: My first wheelie(newb)

Sorry to intrude on your thread man but iv pretty much got clutching 1rst up but second wont come up for and I am not comfortable with stand ups yet but I am completely comfortable on the bike if that makes any sense. So I was wondering if I should try this suspension thing. Sorry to sound so much like a noob but well I am lol. Also I am on a 05 gsxr 750.

susp thing? for what? your bike makes more then enough power to come upin second with ease just keep practicing and dont get to comfortable.
