I loved my Penske. The rear tire wear got to be a bit more even and it was a huge difference. I had the tripple adjustable one. But if you buy a shock, you better have the front forks reworked as well. I had close to $3K in suspension work done on my bike. It was the best investment as far as ridability. The bike was easier to flick back and forth and it could soak up the bumps on the road with ease. It made the bike more enjoyable to ride and made me confident to take the corners a bit more faster.

FWIW, I typically prefer Ohlins over Penske.
The pricing is similar / sometimes less and they don't have to be serviced as frequently.
Especially for street use, the Ohlins tends to hold up better and it's performance doesn't significantly degrade with high miles / use.
i agree. ohlins is nice because you dont have to service it as often.

but if someone is looking for the best and doesnt mind the extra cost of services then penske is the way to go

I will do a track day on my bike sooner or later. but i will buy that for myself. lol i am shallow. i like material gifts that i can touch lol. and no the paper and certificates dont count.
