I had very similar feeling when Matt passed back in October. I don't think Matty would have any of us (his friends) to give up riding on his behalf... It is a decision you have to make for yourself...and it may take some time.

After pondering, questioning, pondering, questioning...I decided to give up riding the streets. I love this sport so much though that I can't give it up entirely so I decided the track was the place for me....still dangerous and potentially fatal...sure, but the risks that are on the streets are taken completely away. And riding the way I like to (fast, which is illegal on the streets) the track was the place for me.

One of the worst parts of getting hurt bad or even dying is the pain it inflicts on those close to you.

Many condolences to you and your friends family.
I lost a close friend a while back. Very difficult dealing with that. Give it a little time, and do your best to think of him and remember who he was. You'll be glad you did as his memories fade.

Either way, RIP.

Sorry for your loss. Losing someone is NEVER easy. It will take a while to get over it, but keep your head up and pray for comfort.
