This is the bike I want to own for the track some day. Dress her up with ohlins all around, and go play. I say pull the trigger, you won't regret it.

yeah, to bad the rider is the slowest part of that equation.

90% of motorcycle deaths are riders who are self taught or taught by family/friends.

I have slapped about $3k on my busa since I got it and in all honesty, the best improvement was tires and dropping weight... everything else probably did little to nothing.

So turn that around and upgrade the rider, put some insurance into your health (ie helmet, gear, life insurance) and make it a more enjoyable ride then just showing off a bunch of performance bling that you wouldn't be able to use anyways since you hole-shotted the experience of progressively learning to ride.

I'll get off my soap box right now cause you were prolly busy looking through some knock-off performance online cataloge while I was posting.

well i was planning on doing a track day pretty soon, i had all my gear (you know my lil bro and i spent $$$ on good gear) actually when the accident occured (some kid apperently fell asleep at the wheel and rear ended me at a stop light, i saw him and was ready to move but thought he was going to change into the next lane, but i guess i was wrong:/:, ended up sandwiching my bike between 2 cars, luckily throwing me out to the side, nothing broke though, just bruised and sore).

I've racked up about 4k miles since i took msf back in november, but still lots to learn i know....anyways i need a new bike since my zx6r is totalled.

been there done that...I guess since racerx knows it all he should have also known you need a bike in order to do a trackday.... or 2,lol. more info for ya... they need a taller windscreen. The stock one is useless. It tops out at 158mph. My wife averages 45.5 mpg. Don't use the thumb kill to stop the motor.( can fry the ecu) The motor makes a really cool sound being a I-3. triumph requires a store stamp in the service book to maintain the warranty. putting on a aftermarket exhaust sheds 10 pounds. they already come with s.s. brake lines and have 90 degree valve stems on the wheels. anything else?

Hey guys, the aluminum triangle plates that mount to the shock and dogbone to the swingarm are breaking with very bad crash results, and U are correct a taller windshield is much nicer, I researched this and suggest the Powerbronze brand, very nice, and I am having the plates custom made at a Laser cutting machine shop out of stainless steel, and they are turning out very nice, could literally save Ur life, I highly suggest if U have a 675 to get these, Tim
