U'd have to post a pic for me to see, but I like using hyper white leds for my license plate lights...

you can find leds at advanced auto parts stores and run the power/ground from the factory license plate light through it

too late for that! its done been cut off! but realy. i snipped it off (battery disconnected) and taped each side seperatly before tucking the whole mess back in the electrical sleave and tucked it away if i need to re-use it. but alas. the entire mess of a back end is gone and my liscence plate is deceptively ghetto-tastic! plus i redid my black tape patchwork and added some more eye candy to my cockpit. also did the 'jumper mod' for kawi's And dunno about an improvment but everything works fine LOL! ill see if i get any more power or at least a change in sound at the higher revs. man i wish i had a garage. or at least my folks went out of town more often so i can use theirs all night!

good job. now the cops have a reason to pull you over, and now you legally can't pass inspection.

that doesn't make it legal. just means the insp. did a job. most do on bikes. and if cop wants to nit picky you could be ticketed for that. if nothing else, just pulled over to check your info and see if your M licensed, so are you?

in other words: by law you must have your license plate lighted. Even if it is mounted under the seat. Moreover the light has to be white/clear... Someone's got a ticket a couple of days ago because the cop thought that his license plate lighting is blue and not white...

Your going to have to remove the tail plastics and it is all right there.

Be sure you put a light and reflectors on your plate or you will get pulled over.
