SO no comfusion I will be more than happy to ride MSRH even if it cost me to ride in the ambulace, just for doing what you believe and that is safety for riders. Did I get that right ??? Hopefully that makes sense

J

Hey tom... thanks for picking our lead instructor for us. I thought we were supposed to do that. Impressive since we haven't announced our lead instructor.

For the rest of us, we are in the process of evaluating our potential instructors.... WITH input from our students. As soon as we have the list, it'll be on our web site.

The list that's on this thread is VERY partial.. and we plan to have a core group of instructors with some rotating out.. just like every other track day organization.

I'm sure there are personality and openion differences among every group. As far as our organization is concerned, we are here to make sure the everyone has a safe, fun time. If any of our instructors are hindering that effort in any way, we have the right to choose who instructs for us.

If anyone has any questions, concerns, issues... please don't make assumptions based on our competition's openions. contact us any time... www.texastrackdays.com, or call us 469-222-6866 or info@texastrackdays.com.

Thank You
Manu, TTD

so, thanks buck. we're all out there to have some fun.. don't understand all the fighting.

You guys are more than welcome. I don't understand the need to tear something or someone down just because you don't understand it. Poor taste in my book, but I think the smart ones can figure it out.
The instructors should be "allowed" to ride where ever they want with whoever they want. They are doing me the favor of helping out, would be bad taste to say where and when they can ride other places.
I'll be out to see you guys this weekend, perhaps take some laps without having to worry about what is going on. Weather looks awesome!!!

just wanted to add my 2 cents...I think Buck and co. are amazing guys and a top notch outfit. Never done a lonestar event but knowing most of thier staff personally, they have to run a great program as well because they are fantastic guys! Having the opportunity to work with TTD is an honor. Meril and Manu are great guys with big smarts and loads of ambition. That said, any one of the organizations will offer you tons of experienced instructors and lots of safe, and fun track miles.

Here's where I got it from:

Sorry I mis-spoke, I thought he was saying they were the lead instructors since he said he was learning from them.

My sincerest apologies for the bad information.
