what did it cost per hour for that little plane? and did it freak you out that you had to leave with less than a full tank of gas to not be over the max takeoff weight? and it's kinda tricky at first to find what you are looking for, it looks so much different up there huh? my gf is wanting to go flying so i need to go rent one of those planes

I can't wait till the karting track is finished at MSR!! you really can't tell from ground level that they are that far along... It seems like they've been pushing around the same dirt for weeks and not made any progress.. Boy was I wrong!!
Why not come race GSS, there is a race there every month and there was a practice last night(every other tuesday)

I think its like $71/hr, we had aLMOST a full tank, take off speed was 76(per manual) and landing was 70.

Actually, I got my bearings pretty quick.....but yeh, everything looks diff up there.

yeah, i flew those in college, and a little after that. take off weight is 1600 pounds, and with the weight of the plane with full tanks at 1260 or so pounds, if there are 2 people in it, combined weight can only be 340 pounds. so did you guys do any stalls? power on stalls are fun

thanks for the pics! brought back some old memories! I got my private license at ellington, flying c-152's, about 10yrs ago. We used to fly over to LaPorte and do touch and go's. There was a aviation outfit there that offered acrobatic training in pitts biplanes and a citabria decathalon. If yall want to go fly, you should look into getting a flight on one of those riggs!!!!!
