Solracer does AIR MOTOHOUSTON?

Man, what a great day...

I had a friend of mine take me up in little Cessna 150 to take some shots of the tracks(and things in between) We took off from La Porte municipal airfield around 12:30pm today after checking over the plane and getting checked out with officials. As soon as we get some altitude, he looks at me and asks where Id like to go... I tell him where and he says "Well, its YOUR plane, YOU FLY!" **For the record, Ive never even been on a passenger flight....ANYWHERE...lol** So Im super stoked, Im at the controls HAVING A BLAST. Its a small plane so you feel pretty much everything, pretty manuverable too. He let me know what altitude to be at while we were in certain airspace etc etc... I flew to where ever I wanted to go, and then he took over while I took the shots. AWESOME DAY! WOOT!

Here be the pics.

Wow, Awesome pics!! I would like to know what your camera setup was for the track pics, especially what zoom lense and filters.

I can't wait till the karting track is finished at MSR!! you really can't tell from ground level that they are that far along... It seems like they've been pushing around the same dirt for weeks and not made any progress.. Boy was I wrong!!
