RideSmart Trivia Contest - March 10

Here comes another part of our trivia contest for RideSmart motorcycle school.
The rules will be the same; 4 winners.
PM me your answers (post in the thread so we can see the participation, ). I will collect the ones that have all answers correct, then will put the names into a hat, then draw four names from it.
1st name drawn = 1st prize
2nd name drawn = 2nd prize
3rd name drawn = 3rd prize
4th name drawn = 4th prize.

Prizes:

1st: 50% off a RideSmart track day this season
2nd: Free bike cam in a RideSmart track day this season
3rd: Free Sport Riding Techniques book by Nick Ienastch
4th: Free RideSmart T-Shirt.

Here are your questions:

1. Multi answer question:
Who won the 1990 World Superbike Championship, with what team, and which rider finished last in that season, with how many points? So four mini answers here for this question.

2. What rider won the 2002 World Superbike Championship, how many points separated him from second place, and on which track did he clench the title? (3 mini answers for this question)

3. Which US track is known as The Fastest Road in the West?

4. Give the name of a rider known as the original Mr. Daytona.

5. What 500 GP rider won the first 500 GP race he entered?

6. For street riding, if a rider encounters a sudden emergency requiring him/her to stop immediately, he/she should (pick one best suited):
a) Use only the front brake to stop since using both brakes will make his rear tire lock and he will crash.
b) Use only the rear brake since he knows that the front brake in emergencies will cause his front to lose traction, and make him crash.
c) Use both brakes because he knows that doing so will allow him to stop quickest
d) Shift down a couple times immediately to use the engine in braking, then gently get on the brakes, because he knows that will help him stop quickest.

May the force be with you!

Forgot to say that we will let this one run for 1 week. Means, we will close this one on Wednesday, Feb 27, 2008. The draw will take place after midnight (depending how late I will be working and what the state of my mind will be).
Results will be announced the next day.

Thanks again.

Hey, thank you all for input and participation in this thread again. We have been experiencing some moving issues, where our threads were being relocated for some mystical reason. However, it will not affect this trivia contest in any way. I still plan on closing this out at the end of today (Wed). Then, will draw the winners of the four prizes stated above. So while you can, spread the word and put in your answers. Lady luck is closer than you might think. Four of you will win something, and that is for sure.

Here is what I will do. I will PM each of you with areas of your answers, where you will 'want' to inspect and resubmit. Me giving the answers out will just miss the point of having the contest (gotta make you work, right? lol).
So look into your inbox. You will have hints about where you 'may' be wrong. Resubmit. The contest is closing today.

Again, my apologies for the lack of communication for some time. Some restrictions were imposed that needed to be worked out. I think it is all straightened out now, and hope future postings will not be affected like this. This contest is still in effect. Prizes are awaiting winners, so if you think you have the answers, pm me with your answers. Good luck to all again.

Hahaha... I got everything, except #5. I can't figure out which one between the 2 GP Riders I got it narrowed down to.
