? about an Angleton Subdivision

I am going to be moving to the area sometime in June and am currently looking at homes in Angleton in the Oakwood Creek Estates just off Sebesta Road. There seems to be alot of houses for sale in that area and was wondering if anyone new of any issues that may explain, what I think is a high number of houses, up for sale.

how old is the neighborhood....check your floodmaps to determine areas outside the floodplain...also check the crime reports (or dispatched calls) to that area....

I know alot of people that have/do live there. Grew up in Angleton. Its a nice neighborhood. I know 5 of my friend's families that have lived there all my life and im 21 now. The only complaints that I know about are the road conditions in that subdivision, and all the kids running around on 4-wheelers all hours of the day/night. Nothing horrible though

I don't think we are taking abou the same area. This subdivision is Southwest of the Intersection of 35 and Hwy 288.

Coming from Victoria, and from what I hear about Houston house prices, I was thinking it was reasonable. Albeit, my relocation is lucrative so I am going to buy a little nicer than what I'm in now.
