PART 2: Installed "Clubman bars" handlebar..!!

Hello Team:

PART 1 is here:

http://www.motohouston.com/forums/sh...ad.php?t=35918

Just as an update. The "clubman bars" handlebar is gone..!!! It was too much for my wrists and back in "stop & go" traffic.

I guess sportbikes are not for me :(

Also the lights were changed to a "dual" setup.

Here are some pictures of the new headlight setup with Rizoma bars:

Hi Ed:

The clubman bar was narrower and this RIZOMA bars I think are just a couple of inches narrower than the stock ones. (not 100% sure)

The mirror is the CRG

Yes, that's correct. I removed the lower one. Trying to go with the "dual headlights" setup. Still looking for the originals, new ones are very expensive.

Yes, they are better. I check the "Motostrano" that CycleGear sells for half the price, but the quality of the optics (mirror) is very low and you can see some distortion on the images being reflected by the mirror. Also do not seems like the mirror is made of glass, the CRG has better optics (distortion free) and the quality of the mirror is much better.

Did you look into the Suburban Machinery bars before deciding on the Rizoma bars? They're a nice balance between clip-ons/clubmans and upright bars. Not too low and not too high of a position.

The CRG's are built tough and built well.. I've seen up close a couple of pairs involved in a low-speed crash and a parking lot tip-over. Both came out with just minor scratches. IMO they're worth the price.

Cycle Gear does sell the Motrax brand mirrors for $60 a pair. The mirrors appear to be made of glass, but not of high quality.

3rd Eye or Cat Eye mirrors are also cheaper alternatives
