Dear Idiots on 59 Exiting Grand Parkway,

You all looked really cool with your icon jackets and tennis shoes today. I was thoroughly impressed with the way you were able to hold up traffic so your homies could ride standups in the construction zone! Man, your parents must be so proud!

I was further impressed by the $1200 exhaust systems and $75 helmets! Man, I wish I was street savvy enough to do that!

I'm glad none of you crashed there while you were doing 40 mph across 4 lanes, holding up the other cars so you could practice your stunts; however, I think I would be guilty of a chuckle and a thought of "you got what you deserved" if one of you had bit the dust while doing so. I would have stopped to help, unfortunately, I am almost bound to. I can't help to think though that it would have been part of a Darwinian result if one of you were to crash.

Thanks again, I know myself and the other 20 or so cars you held up were really, really impressed with your little stunt show. Jason Britten better watch out!

Sincerely,

Martha Fleishman

Unbelievable

What's even more pathetic is that they're probably gonna read this and say "Yeah, well F you with your preaching. That's how we roll." because we all know that they think they're all that and then some, and that the world revolves around them.

The other cars in front of me did that, they just slowed down more. Once I was able to get through traffic ('cause everyone else slowed down, looking scared), I got right up in to the middle of the pack and cut a few of them away from the rest of the pack that was exiting.

I'm sure those 4 just waited until I got by and jammed on the brakes, cut two lanes of traffic and exited though.

I like the sarcasm...

I must agree with the Darwin theory here (survival of the fittest). Some of our members of society just have a knack for killing themselves off... and I personally don't think that should be illegal!

Amen. If gangsters want to kill gangsters- so be it. If drug dealers want to kill users or other dealers- be my guest. When they affect innocent bystanders though- automatic life sentence IMHO. I think the same should go for idiots who ride like that on the freeways too.

If they kill themselves- too bad, so sad. If they hurt or kill someone else- book 'em Danno.

tennis shoes and icon jackets! ahahahahha! I laugh at that every time, sometimes the jackets aren't even zipped, or the helmets arent strapped on.

Also, a chuckle for someone getting badly hurt because you are a little slower getting home? Maybe you should look in the mirror a little and see what kind of person you really are for making that comment.

I personally would "chuckle" or maybe even hope a cop would stop them and slap a fat ticket on that azz!

I guess I dont enjoy people being hurt over stupid though... to each his own.
Pretty simple, ride responsibly on our freeways, and I won't laugh at your stupidity. Nothing wrong with laughing, pointing, and chuckling at someone who has let stupidity get the best of them. Obviously, it wouldn't be the ones going slow that would wreck (I hope, otherwise they really don't need to be on the road at all), it's the brain surgeons that are stunting that would get it.

Besides, it's not "my time" that concerned me, it was the affect it was having on the other people that share the road! If you're not smart enough to understand what kind of problems that causes (let alone the time delays, that is a minor issue), then maybe you should re-educate yourself on freeway safety. Especially in a construction zone!

You act dumb and get pinched for it, I'm gonna laugh, and I wouldn't expect anything less from anyone else. Stunt on the freeway and wreck out= funny.

No I didn't, and I hope not.

I did see some MH stickers on two bikes... that's why I posted up. I hope they were just squidin' it up with their stickers and aren't actually members.

Very disappointing to say the least.

I'm a fan of the skill that stunters display- my son loved the stunt show at the BBQ last year.

The freeway, especially in a construction zone, in traffic, using 15 or so bikes to "block" while you stunt, is NOT the place to do it!
