I'm leaving from HWY45 and FM2920 area. Zip ties FTW, putting SOME of my old street parts back on so I can be legal and see where I am going in the darkness.

OK So where are we all meeting tomorrow and what time, I don't think we have nailed down any specifics yet have we?

I think old KSU stands as it was. Others will filter in as schedule permits.

I plan to see you guys at :
Meet 2 for northies: I-10 & 146 @ 1:15pm, KSU 1:30pm
* I can't tell what's on each corner using Google, but I think there's a gas station on the southwest corner of 10/146. Anyone know for sure?

I'll meet with anyone on the N side 2920 and I45, gas station on south bound side @ 12:00pm, KSU @12:15 sharp. You will recognize my bike when you see it. It is the prettiest Kawi in Houston!

Meet 1 for southies: Barnes & Noble @ noon, KSU @ 12:15pm

Meet 2 for northies: I-10 & 146 @ 1:15pm, KSU 1:30pm

Head to Silsbee for late lunch/early dinner. Ride approx. 1.5 hours. Arrive around 3pm (roughly). Sunset this day will be at 6:15pm, so we'll leave for Bragg Rd. by 5:15pm.

Silsbee to Bragg Rd. Ride approx 30-40 minutes to set up location. We'll enter from the north and travel a few miles down away from the highway and scout a nice isolated spot. We should have enough daylight left to get situated

Bragg Rd. to Houston Arrival home depends on when we leave. The ride back to Clear Lake is approx 70 miles. Those who live on the north side may want to take a quicker route back thru Liberty/Dayton.

Regarding the food in Silsbee. I've been scouting places we could eat, and it's been slim pickin's. Finding a place around that area where we can sit down and eat something that isn't fast food or a place where the name isn't followed by "Feed" or "Grocery" has been tough. One member described a spot I'd been scouting as an "inbred jed version of Luby's." So, Silsbee has a Chili's that seems fairly safe, and I've never seen Silsbee. Again, suggestions are welcome.
Just to clarify. The Barnes & Nobles you are referring to for the Southies is I45 & Bay Area, correct?

See you there @ 12:00pm...

{threadjack}
EVERYONE:
I'm not riding "spirited" or doing whoolies for the entire ride... Don't ask me too. My bike is a stunt bike but for parking lot only. If anyone wants to do a whoolie, your more than welcome to do it on your own bike. I don't plan to get pulled over and harassed just because of how my bike looks. By the books for me, no more tickets for me for the rest of the year or I lose my insurance.
{/threadjack}

On with the show.

I'm just trying to avoid being harassed. I have gotten tickets just SITTING at gas stations... Fuggers... They think I'm on the highway people off when I'm really just trying to ride normal somewhere or go to a lot.

My bike sticks out like a sore thumb, especially with all the bone stock or lightly modified bikes out there.

I have to dot my "i"s and be sure to cross all of my "t"s, you know what I mean?

I'm about to leave work and head home after a quick stop at Academy. I'll respond to various questions and post detailed maps and final take-it-to-the-bank info by mid-afternoon.
