I get off work about 5pm on Saturday so I'll likely meet up with you all wherever you'll be.

I will need information on meeting places and times, maybe directions there by the time I get out... Prolly will shoot down 105...

I think I've worked the route out. I tried to get a little off the beaten path so maybe some of us can see some new places on the way up. Tentative schedule looks like the following, and suggestions are welcome.

Meet 1 for southies: Barnes & Noble @ noon, KSU @ 12:15pm

Meet 2 for northies: I-10 & 146 @ 1:15pm, KSU 1:30pm
* I can't tell what's on each corner using Google, but I think there's a gas station on the southwest corner of 10/146. Anyone know for sure?

Head to Silsbee for late lunch/early dinner. Ride approx. 1.5 hours. Arrive around 3pm (roughly). Sunset this day will be at 6:15pm, so we'll leave for Bragg Rd. by 5:15pm.

Silsbee to Bragg Rd. Ride approx 30-40 minutes to set up location. We'll enter from the north and travel a few miles down away from the highway and scout a nice isolated spot. We should have enough daylight left to get situated

Bragg Rd. to Houston Arrival home depends on when we leave. The ride back to Clear Lake is approx 70 miles. Those who live on the north side may want to take a quicker route back thru Liberty/Dayton.

Regarding the food in Silsbee. I've been scouting places we could eat, and it's been slim pickin's. Finding a place around that area where we can sit down and eat something that isn't fast food or a place where the name isn't followed by "Feed" or "Grocery" has been tough. One member described a spot I'd been scouting as an "inbred jed version of Luby's." So, Silsbee has a Chili's that seems fairly safe, and I've never seen Silsbee. Again, suggestions are welcome.
