tribal flames are so gone. and I gotta be honest, I have seen much better flames done. please take your time and keep looking, 650 is cheap price, understand that now and start deciding what your wallet will let the job look like.

Those are not "real fire" but a cheap knock-off that you have shown there. You'll never get anyone who is good with "real fire" paint jobs for $650.

Bottom line is, if you're happy with the way the $650 dude's stuff looks, then go for it.

I've done plenty of cruisers, and the most popular stuff I've done is ghost flames and things that are pretty traditional. The "real fire" is a talent that requires lots of practice and skill, which equals $$$. Looks like the above guy (pictures posted) is still learning.

my airbrush guy does nice true fire....although the cost will be a more than $650, and depending on how detailed you want to get, how many panels, etc.

here's a few pics of his stuff....

This one is on the bottom end (IMHO) of skill, but see the difference in this vs the ones above?

http://www.airbrushfrankhazen.com/t.gif

And then this one is a combination variation of real fire and flames:

You'll be hard pressed to find good "real fire" paint jobs on the cheap. Good luck to you though, and post up if you're successful.

HMMMMMMMMMMM well the pic above are pic i pulled from the net, i have yet to see the guy my dad sugested , his work but i will deff check it out before i get it done. yes the other pics you all have posted look great and that is what i want but in a white and greay kinda look.

i am not looking to spend 1000 dollars on some flames.

it is just an over paint, i am not looking to repaint the hole tank and all that , just rough it up , put down some sick flames and clear coat, that should not cost that much!

give me some links , i spent all night looking for a place n houston that does flames and sent emails for some priceing ! so help me out , tank fenders and oil tank , white , grey, a touch of silver and even smaller touch of blue, how much and when can i get it done?
