Anyone tried Pinebox Screamer Exhaust yet?

http://www.pineboxonline.com/07index.html

Have anybuddy heard anything good/bad about this exhaust? Probably not much as far as performance gains....just a slip on.

negative, just for Ninjas. I think he's been making then for 03-04s and it'll fit on 05-06 with some mod, and now he's making ones for 07/08s.

Should i try em out......i feel a case of impulse buying coming on soon !

I think it would be good looking if it was cleaned up a little. If its cheap enough you could slean it up a little yourself.
As for gains, Maybe with a PC and some dyno time, you might be able to get a few extra ponies out of it, but i never count on exhaust giving me any more power.

I have one on my 03. The welds are crappy but its held up fine. I got the brushed finish and it looks good. It is extremely loud. Not much quieter than running open headers. Noticeable loss of low end

I remember when that guy made them for his bike on kawiforums. Everyone bugs him to make a few more and I guess its a side business now. He makes them in his garage. I'll pass.

here's a pic of his "production product" which means completed and ready to sell....

i wouldn't even pay $100 for that. the guy doesn't know the meaning of craftsmenship. no quality in that product. looks like you're just paying for the heavy metal. that sucker looks like it weighs a good 50lbs. i wouldn't buy it.

yea it is kind of heavy for how big it is. lighter than a full slip-on though i'm sure. there's a bracket that connects to the frame, so it's not going to fall off or anything.

...and nice welds, too... can't forget $400 gets you some nice welds (or at least he grinds them down to smooth them!)
