Yamaha's Fabrizio Pirovano. He ran off and crashed in the muck of turn one and parts of his motorcycle--including the carbs--were never found.
Should've checked Ebay.
Was Adamo the one with the "skeletal" leathers ???

Vance and Hines Yamaha again had a Brainerd to forget in '91. Their riders, Jamie James and Thomas Stevens, didn't even race the second leg because their bikes were so underpowered.

Comments rarely heard about any bike Vance and Hines prepared - especially Pro Stock drag bikes.

Good 'ol Merkel. Another one of those fantastically talented riders who made every race boring as in the peak of his career! With the charm of a badger, camera presence of a NHL goalie who just got jerked for letting in 4 goals in 5 minutes, but the motorcycling skill sent down from the heavens...
