little different, when it comes to family, there is a tie of love there through 99% of anything they could ever do.

A cop you don't know, is like a mod on this board, while you don't have to like them, you have to respect their authority to some extent, but doesn't mean they can abuse it

Don't knock going through the wall of fire on a skateboard until you try it(just remember to pour water over your head first(my friend forgot that)

I never suggested cuffing and stuffing...I think you did.

I don't think hauling the kid to jail would have "fit" the crime either....I'm pretty sure the City of Baltimore probably has an ordinance against riding skateboards in public places....therefore, he could have given the kid a CITATION or called his parents....in a respectable way...not yelling and pointing his finger....

the cop was born with a small ....it doesn't give him the right to fly off the handle because some kid is skating in "his" park.

1) NO, my parents didn't beat me. I was disciplined mostly verbally but was always treated with respect, I can only remember catching 3 whoopings in my lifetime.

2) I love my parents but had they beaten me and constantly disrespected me...sure I would have probably hated them. That's usually the story for serial killers...beaten by parents. There's also a psychological term for a condition which results from having been abused throughout childhood that escapes me at the moment...

Cops get my respect when they earn it not just because they pass the cop test.

let's not start a debate on "other" cops...let's talk about this one and why Racer X thinks he did nothing wrong

I don't want this thread getting locked...not enough people on line to see Racer's twisted point of view.

+1 on the latter part of your statement but as far as respect is concerned, I personally see respect as mutual and this goes for anyone. If you disrespect me, no matter who you are, bet your I will return the favor. If you speak to me respectfully, guaranteed you will be afforded the same.

Nah, actually, the only thing we can legitimately comment on is that which we can categorically see here. Evidence does not act to skew but rather to reinforce...
