The scorpion photocromatic lens is not that great does not get dark enough for summer day riding but I do use it if i am going riding in the evening.

can't really comment directly b/c i have no real experience, but i've heard lots of people say to stay away from icon helmets

i've been wanting an exo-1000 as well, just haven't found one to try on yet. i can't imagine that it'd be too much heavier than my HJC...

Good helmet, stay away from over pumping. I got a show room model one and the pump was popped, returned it to get another... Hard to get your hands on too.

Stay away from Icon...
