This helmet is so cool!

http://shopping.scorpionusa.com/C55D...4EE0B2BA6575AB

Im new to this so this may not be a new feature but for me its like

If you watch the vid, you have a clear visor.. but on the inside theres a lever on the side of ur helmet you can slide a darker lense so you can see during day.. meaning no visor switching.

Lol just thought id share.

Yeah I really like that idea a lot. That particular helmet only comes in blue, dark silver, silver, or white. There must be some old lady designing these. lol

Lol yeah, I wish there was a cool design.

Im really considering that helmet for when I buy, that way i wont be wearing a clear lense in the dark to school, than having to switch and carry the other.. and making sure nothing in my backpack busts one of the visors, so yeah.

Got one, really like it. Lots of great features for not much dinero. I would not use it on the tack, however, as the peripheral vision on top is somewhat limited by the need for the helmet to be a tad thicker to accommodate the dark shield. It is not a problem for me on the street, but in an extreme tuck position when using the maximum peripheral vision I could imagine it would be somewhat limiting.

Here's the best photochromatic shield I have found so far. Goes from clear to dark smoke in only 30 seconds. I only wish the Scorpion photochromatic worked as well. http://wikihelmets.com/

I've only bought solid color helmets because the race-rep lids never appealed to me, but the new Arai Jolly Roger has changed that. __will be my next lid

I love the scorpions...

it will begin to fog at a riding temp of 20 deg when you come to a stop after riding for a few miles. But it doesnt necessary fog; the lense coating just starts to blur the vision a little. I do recommend geting a chin curtain; I purchased one for a shoie and put it in place since there is alot of air flow under the helmet. I have an ex400

Lol, How often is it 20degrees in Texas.. But it would suck if i made a trip up to somewhere cold if it was fogging on me all the time.

Whats a chin curtain.
