first, you always post before me spence!! grrr!!! now, i agree... i was against the whole bike idea until i knew that it wouldn't be a week or so kinda thing, i had to know that he was in it for the long haul before i let him spend that kind of money. AND I needed to know that he would be safe, and not just in front of me. its not cool to ride with flip-flops, shorts, an undershirt, and no helmet. its not cool man! but he has shown me that this isn't a one day wonder thing and that he's going to be safe when he rides, so i'm cool with it. he was very into his car when we first met, it sucked a lot of money out of us, but it was his decision to sell. he asked me for my advice, sure, but again i wouldn't have made him give it up because of me.

and now i can't wait for him to get his bike back so that i can ride with him!!!

i dont believe in limiting your significant others in anyway. The minute you tell him "no you cant do that" is the minute you need to break up.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, don't get rid of your enjoyment for the enjoymnet of others as you will never be able to win in a fight from there on out. Men should not have to check thier testacles at the door before leaving home and if you cave about something that you love and enjoy; that is exactly what you'll be doing. KEEP YOUR BIKES BOYS. Put your foot down and don't let her run you. If she truely loves you she will accept all of you not just part. That is all.
+1 your awesome gurl!

My gurl feels the same way, otherwise it would be her going and definitely not the bike.

See, if the bike cam BEFORE me, then his safety would be my only worry... but it didn't, so spending a huge amount of money on something that he'd ride once and give up was also a factor. Now, making him give something up for me... wouldn't even think about it unless it was a life or death matter. Heck I can't even get him off the PS3 for some one-on-one time sometimes... (stupid warhawk!)

I don't worry about my man's safety...that is what insurance is for...I just make sure the premiums are paid and I'm listed as the sole beneficiary.
