I dunno, we just did it Saturday, but its a two part epoxy primer and it went on beautifully, sprayed easy and went on thick, hides all the and then I can do a fender at a time and then re-prime as I go. when I finish all the , I'll paint it up one day, but not to much in a rush, it will be this color for a while. We will do the faded white skull and cross bones and PC biz. lettering on the doors this week.
I am making a toothy grill like an old desoto, teeth will be chromed with one gold tooth off to the side of center
The hood ornament will be a 520 moto chain running down the center of the hood and a set of brass knuckles welded to the top of the chain at the nose of the hood.
trucks gonna look brutal:HC: and it dont go potato, potato, potato, it goes lopedy, lopedy, lopedy

gotta use an EPOXY primer if you plan to leave the primer for a while.

reg primer would do more damage when it comes to rust protection. reg primer actually obsorbs all the water (which will cause the rust), as epoxy primer repels the water.

only downfall of epoxy primer is that it's harder to sand.

looks good scoot... thanks for the info. I will have to go this route with the epoxy primer. I start college this summer and funds will be tight for 3 years but I don't want the truck to rust away while it sits.
