I got 2 custom suits made by Syed Leathers. There suits are thick and sewn to perfect. You won't be disappointed for the quality. He will call you if a problems occurs on his part. Most the time it's being backlogged in one month for race seasons. Other issue on your part may just be the fit from not correctly filling in all the measurements that he requires. Then his experience in alterations will come to play. He does repairs and upgrades to his suits if needed. Your making the right choice. Syed is known all over the US.

I heard good things about them, but in my opinion not quite the best looking suits out there.

I have a set for road racing cars. The company makes a good suit if you dont mind the crappy choices in colors and dated patterns. Quality is above average. So is the fitting.

I'm a Vanson fan - they were incredible when I crashed - zero rash - none - nada, and awesome impact proctection. They repaired the damage and I still wear them.

Anything looks better than some good old fashioned rash...

I've also heard good things about Syed.
I also have decided to go with Barnacle Bill. When I consulted them about a custom suit, the response back was very timely. The contact seemed very informative and willing to do whatever necessary.

I think Colin Edwards still wears thier suits. Supposed to be great stuff if you can get over the lack of style as mentioned. Awesome perforation I hear.

Best suit made. Barnacle Bill and Vanson are peers with Syed fo sho. Any of the three can be considered "the best" by any standard.

If you get a custom suit, you can design your colors and custom scheme. Draw it out and they'll make it. Of course, that costs extra... Brian Montgomery designed his own suit, and it looked so good, Syed made it one of "their" stock custom suits.

Personally, I'd have no problem with their $800 "deal" suit. Limited colors and such, but comes with the best armor, perforation fit for a King, and construction that is superb to say the least.

Syed will be my next suit after I get done with my current custom.

Z Custom are on par w/ Syed, Vanson and BB suits.

All of these are excellent when made custom.

They all have prices that go from $8/900 up to (and over!) $1500. All in the same price ranges... Vanson seems to be the highest priced across the board though.

I was quoted $1200, with aero hump (don't know if I'll do it, though). That's a basic, no frills suit.
