i dont know aboutt them being more stable but i know i like stand ups better because for one they come up easier and 2 i like seeing where im going at balance point.

Nada to both, I just don't like them as much as sit downs... with the exception I can ride a stand up longer than a sit down.

i was the same way at first. just keep practicing you will be comfortable with them the more you do them.

For one its easier to steer a stand up, two, if your balance point in a sitdown, you cant see jack unless your leaning off the side of the bike...So if your doing a sitdown and you can see everything in front of you without lookin off the side, then your about to hit the revlimiter, cause your chasing it
