Gimpin to mod the For Sale Section?

Alright, im serious about this, i would like to mod the for sale section.

when i joined motohouston, i did it because i needed people to talk to about my wreck, i needed the board, i didnt just want to join so i could use/take advantage of it. maybe thats why i get irritated with these people that join just to sale stuff. this board.... as goofy as it gets sometimes, it has a family mentality, and i just dont like strangers walkin into my house trying to sale some random t to my family.

so what do yall think?

i kinda agree, but puppies, and other non related bike things that someone joins just to sale, well thats just BS.

now as far as a noob coming on to sale a bike, i guess it just depends, thats where a MOD would have to make a judgment call, is it good for the board or not?

thats why i think i should mod it or someone should, doesnt have to be me, im just volunteering for the job

+1

i always have people ask me "hey, i want to sell this bike fast, where can i sell it cheap". its totally stupid, to be like, "well, MH would be perfect, but you cant sell it there, cause your not a member, but being a member is free...so you COULD sell it there, except your gonna have to chat it up for a day or two about bikes..."

that is dumb. they dont want to talk about bikes, fine. they are selling out cheap, let them, and let someone on MH who is looking to get into a bike get one at a good price. better that than let some dillhole on craigslist get it.

yes, if someone is scamming BAN them, if someone is highballing, we will just laugh them off anyways. other than that, if some random person wants to list a bike, i say let them!

i agree, anything thats moto-related will and most likely would stay, this is directed towards the people with no interest in bikes selling a dog or lawnmower. understand?

i see its to late, you voted without knowing the question

It is very easy to just comment on enough topics to sell something without being given a hard time about it. So there are ways around it. I understand the argument behind a post limit to sell, but also think the way people get so affended by "not enough posts to sell" is a bit ridiculous. If someone gets scammed it's there own fault. If someone is a scammer then no one on here will buy from them. Bad sellers will get weeded out. I think it's good to have diversity in the sales section. If someone wants to sell on here, but does not want to be a part of the community then thats fine with me. But I guess if you don't have anything else better to do with your time then go for it.

guess that is the nice way of you saying it would be a waste of time, thanks, i appreciate it. im just trying to look out for everybody.

and its not about having enough comments, its about being a contributing member of the board

Bikes are not the only thing members do. Maybe someone needs a lawn mower or a dog.
