I've only been street-riding, not the track yet, but I feel more comfortable weighting the outside peg. I'll just change how hard I push the bar to set my turn-in speed.

I haven't had many chances to really get into it, but I usually push the inside peg and just learned to grip/balance with the outside leg.

I've always weighted the inside peg and pressed in with the outside knee to turn. Never felt a loss of traction because of it (except for when the track is just slippery).

So Romeo, as you get on the gas exiting the turn, you should shift weight to the outside peg? I've heard that before, but assumed it was for really advanced riders... Is it possible to weight the inside peg too much and cause the bike to lowside???
the reason for weighting the outside peg is to kinda push the bike more upright to give it more traction when exiting and at the same time enabling you to keep your body to hang further off so that you can still turn the bike while your getting on the gas.

about weighting the inside peg to much, probably cuz theres only so much power that the tire can put down with out spinning when your leaned over. by putting the weight on the inside of the peg its kinda like asking the bike to lose traction so yes or you'll highside
