Maybe you have never seen the ATK 700 Intimidator. I think it's the biggest.

do it! i used to run my rm125 all over the street with no lights, and so on! you'll have enough umph to go all over town with it. With the right gearing you can make it go as fast as you'd want...

you planning on some enduro tires? or street?

i think my kx60 motor was hitting about 60 on the straights with James Carbon riding it.

I have a 2001 KTM 200 exc that is street legal. It is terrible for just cruising along. It surges like crazy at anything over 40 MPH as it is right on the edge of the pipe / powerband. I'm going to re-gear it so in 6th it is always kinda lugging, hoping for 60 or so without surging, and then not much cause it will take more throttle to maintain speed. Top speed stock is about 87. With gearing I think I can get about 110 out of it. A 125 should be able to pull 90 with gearing.

For zinging around town like a madman it is great. Wheelies in just about any situation and gear (scary at the wrong time fo sho), has 12 inches travel to takle any man made curb, speed bump, pothole... Has awesome seating position. So high I can see over cars.

Got a speedo for enduro. Mounted a mirror. Installed a brake light switch and two way bulb. Added an acerbis style high / low stunt headlight and high beam indicator LED. It doesn't have a battery, but no biggie.

Make sure you start with a bike like this one or a Kawasaki 200 KDX cause they already have a stock lighting coil. This will save you tons of money over converting a straight up dirt bike. And skip the 125. You'll be much better off with an older model 250. More torque = more fun.
