Rossi is actually too superstisious to change his number if you know the back story.
Did you guys hear Pedrosa is gonna already running the #2 plate?
maybe this year, he'll earn another spot up in the food chain. i would like to see pedrosa stay up in the front this year. as for nicky.....well, i like pedrosa more.

In all honesty, I'd like Rossi to win once again on a Yamaha - show the world so they stfu, then move on to Ducati & be win a year on an Italian machine with Italian prince (dream come true for many), then resign and go 4 wheeling and win some rally trophies.

If Rossi does'nt win - i'd like Edwards or Hopper to win. As for Jorge - I think he can wait, but I have a feeling he's going to be Rossi's bigest thread.

Pedrosa in my opinion plays too nice and seems scared when he makes closes passes for some reason. Just my opinion about him though.

Crashing is his fault. I want DBuck to know how someone wins of Luck. Rossi crashing can be condsidered Hayden's luck - but it's still Rossi's fault.

Where as Tires - blame it on Michelin, not Rossi (heck he still rode and finished top 5 in one race where top 11 riders were non Michelin runners!
)

Where as Mechanical - Yamaha's f@ck up!

Where as taken out by another rider - that's just racing, look at it this way. Stoner took out Sete in 2006 which Stoner was on a POS Honda and Sete on a sweet Duc, who would know in 2007 that crash would put Sete's retirement (along with other issues), and then Stoner would not only get Sete's Duc but also win the championship? Racing eh? :/:

Yes I mean Jorge Lorenzo.

There is a big deal - if there's anyone that will replace Rossi consistenly, it'll be this kid. Youngest rider ever to compete in a GP @ age 15.

Don't believe me? Give him 1 season - if he does'nt do better then Hayden's 1st 3 seasons i'll buy you lunch...

I wonder if Lorenzo will be a "One Lap Wonder" kinda like Pedro is looked at sometimes.

I have my predictions for the year's placement. Kinda want to wait for the last test but.... Stoner and Rossi are going to battle for first. Nicky will do much better this year and probably wind up 3rd. Pedrosa and Edwards will battle for 4th. Lorenzo will be rookie of year and come in 6th, if not better. I don't see Hopkins having a better year than last. Kawi can't compete with the other bikes yet.

My opinon depends if Mich tires can go the distance this year.

sorry, it was not.. HRC has two race team in Japan to fulfill their riders' request.

It was just that Pedrosa asked for stuff that worked for him while Hayden requested for more aerowork and then he adopted Pedrosa's mod after he got his aerowork.

But no matter what the riders did, the chassis emphasis on mass centralization went too far... couple with Michelin's lack of front end feel when compared to the Bridgestone, plus the much shorter braking distance made it tough for the HRC boys to ride as they want.

Well put
He still messed up at that last race though,
do you know the next day he refused to ride the new 800 until he'd been back out on the 990.
Went through that same corner a load of times carrying more speed and more lean angle (so said the telemetry) and didn't fall !!!
